SHINHAN LIFE VIETNAM APPOINTS GENERAL DIRECTOR AND APPOINTED ACTUARY

Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Lee Eui Chul as its General Director and Mr. Lee Chung Hyun as its Appointed Actuary since 11th May 2021.
Mr. Lee Eui Chul has more than 25 years of experience in Korean insurance market in various key departments such as Sales planning, E-business, Marketing, and latest is as Director of Operation division in mother company Shinhan Life Insurance Corporation. With diversified experience in developing new business model and non-traditional channels, Mr. Lee is expected to lead the new company to maximize the opportunity in Vietnam.
He said, "Shinhan is already a leading Korean financial brand, loved by a lot of Vietnamese. Shinhan Life Vietnam (SHLV) will provide trustful products which can instill a good awareness of insurance to people, and contribute to making Shinhan a representative brand in Vietnam along with group companies Shinhan Bank, Shinhan Securities and Shinhan Finance."
Accompanying Mr. Lee EuiChul in the process of building a new company, Mr. Lee Chunghyun was appointed to the position of Appointed Actuary of the SHLV.
"As being the first Korean actuary who take the role of appointed actuary in Vietnamese insurance company, I deeply appreciate to Insurance supervisory authority and the head office. I will do my best to make Shinhan Life can contribute to the development of Vietnam's insurance market." said Mr. Lee Chung Hyun.
