SHINHAN LIFE VIETNAM APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE MEMBERS’ COUNCIL CUM GENERAL DIRECTOR

With the approval of the Ministry of Finance in accordance with Official Letter No. 8362/BTC-QLBH, dated 08/08/2023, Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company has been officially appointed Mr. Bae Seung Jun as the new Chairman of the Members’ Council cum General Director from 8th August 2023, replacing Mr. Lee EuiChul.
Mr. Bae Seung Jun has been with the parent company Shinhan Life Insurance Corporation, Korea since 2008, he has almost 15 years of experience in developing marketing strategies for the Korean insurance market, as well as foreign business and international insurance market research and development. He was also directly involved in the process of building and laying the foundation for Shinhan Life Vietnam from the beginning.

On his inauguration speech, Mr. Bae Seung Jun shared with all staff: "In my new roles as the company's Chairman of the Members’ Council cum General Director, I would like to emphasize three points. First, as a new insurer in the Vietnamese market, Shinhan Life must constantly change and innovate in order to adapt to the market and promote its existing strengths. Second, we keep on investigating and developing new business models in order to increase our market competitiveness. Third, Shinhan Life Vietnam will be a business that grows in tandem with the growth of each company employee. We will build a company that everyone can be proud of."
With his wealth of experience, dynamic spirit, and broad knowledge of the development of the international insurance market, Mr. Bae Seung Jun is expected to contribute to promoting Shinhan Life Vietnam to move forward with a new transformation.
